Wow, February has been a crazy month hasn’t it! I’d ask what you all did for Valentine’s Day but I don’t want to hear about it. Personally I think the 14th of February has been over worked and celebrated for much to long now. For those of you with a significant other, you can now consider yourselves broke. And for those of you, (like me) without someone special in their lives right now, your self esteem has dropped another 6 points from having to spend the 14th looking at P.D.A. (Public Displays of Affection) or sappy television movies.
I spent this Valentine’s Day in Orlando, Florida with two of my cousins and my brother. Not exactly a romantic getaway but definitely a ton of fun! We were down there for 6 days including the flight there and back. So the 4 full days we spent doing stuff we went to Hollywood Studios (Disney World), Sea World, Downtown Disney, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens. The weather was a bit chilly but over all it was a really good week. I’ll be honest, I was a little worried about Sea World & Busch Gardens because most would consider them zoos. But I did my research, and they are in fact Conservatories supported by the WWF along with many other environmental groups. I was happy to see that there were only 2 animals I would have housed differently. And to be honest with you, the whales looked like they were loving the human attention!
While I was down there, I managed to cut my gum and get an infection so I have yet to be back to school. I am now on a freakishly large anti-biotic pill, 4 times a day… But it’s cleared up significantly so I guess I should be thankful! <Yeaa you really didn’t need to know all that but I thought I’d share it with you anyway.
This weekend coming up, my bestie (Emily Adams) and I have our interviews in Toronto for a staff position at my favourite summer camp this summer!! Other than the fact that the interview is at 8:40 in the morning… I am very excited! :D I was lead to believe that it was one of my friend’s moms doing the interview so it shouldn’t be too awkward.
Well I’d say that about concludes the summary to my life in February 2010 and I’ll try to keep you better updated! :)
