Another Unofficial, Irrational, Totally Unnecessary Movie Review!

So I’m going to review the 3 most recent movies I’ve seen in theatres, in the order I saw them! Get ready, ‘cause here it comes ;)

Toy Story 3

Best phrase to describe this movie: So NOT a kids movie.

We’ve had to wait like 12 years for this movie, and it’s definitely for us. Remember when Monsters Inc. came out and all the little kids went screaming from the theatre, yea it’s like that. No child should know that the world is that much of a horrible deceptive place! Don’t get me wrong, it was a FANTASTIC movie! But I have never cried so hard in a movie before. (Okay, yea, I’m a crier. But if you talk to other people, they’ll tell you their eyes were at least watering.) IT. WAS. SAD. & there was a part where I was scared. Basically, I would not take my little kid to see this.

Rating: 4/5 (the 3D wasn’t necessary. Save yourself some money & see it in 2D)

Grown Ups

If you go to see this movie, thinking it is going to be hilarious & totally pointless, you will love it.

I LOVED it.

That’s really all I have to say. Be ready to pee yourself laughing.

Rating: 3.5/5 (I loved it, but it could have been better)

And FINALLY - What you’ve all been waiting for…

ECLIPSE

O…M…G… BY FAR the BEST Twilight film yet, and probably will out do Breaking Dawn by a lot. I have SO much respect for David Slade (the Director). And if I talk much more this is going to end up a spoiler. I want you to go see this movie.

The one thing I didn’t like was the new actress they had for Victoria. While I’m sure she did the best job she could, she just couldn’t compare to Rochelle. This new actress just wasn’t as underlined evil. It just… didn’t work.

And if any of you tell me you’re team Jacob after this movie, I’m going to kill you :)

Rating 4.5/5 (Not quite ;P)

Another Unauthorized Movie Review

Ohhh Boy. ALICE IN WONDERLAND -

Tim Burton + Johnny Depp + Helena Bonham Carter = BEST. MOVIES. EVER

BEST. MOVIES. EVER + A Disney Approved Family Movie = Disappointment

I ADORE Johnny Depp, Tim Burton and Helena Carter. And together they have made some of the greatest movies ever - Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, etc.  Alice in Wonderland however, was not one of them. Though it was a great movie, and Depp & Carter’s characters were absolutely FANTASTIC, I was somewhat disappointed in the movie all together.

The story line was a little unclear, and being a Tim Burton film, I was really hoping for a much “darker” movie. I’ll be honest though, ALL of the characters were fantastic. They were taken to the absolute extremes and I thought they were all acted out amazingly. The Cheshire Cat could not have been better. I loved him!

Now I don’t want to say much else because I do recommend seeing this. I was disappointed but only because I had such high expectations. It really was a fantastic movie. So before I spoil anything, go see the movie!

I give it 2 creepy smiles out of 3. :)
